The Complementary & Alternative Medicine at the National Institutes of Health reports that “Acupuncture is an effective treatment for nausea caused by cancer chemotherapy drugs, surgical anesthesia, and pregnancy; and for pain resulting from surgery and a variety of musculoskeletal conditions, an expert panel concluded.”
