Integrative Manual Therapy

Integrative Manual Therapy (IMT) is a form of manual therapy that uses subtle hands on techniques to identify and treat the underlying causes of dysfunction and chronic pain. IMT encourages your body’s innate ability to heal itself by treating the anatomy and improving the function of the different systems of the body including muscles, bones, joints, connective tissue as well as organs, circulation and the nervous system.

Integrative Manual Therapy blends the different philosophies of manual medicine, functional medicine and nutritional support with skilled hands on treatment and functional exercises.

This approach looks beyond a painful joint or muscle group in order to find the root causes of your pain and disability.  The foundation of your evaluation is “Myofascial Mapping” which specifically assesses the layers of fascia that interconnect every structure in the human body. This will identify the tensions from other structures inhibiting your body’s ability to heal and the issues at you primary site of injury.

Our treatment sessions are scheduled for approximately hour with one practitioner. We treat a wide range of problems from acute sprains, back pain and headaches to irritable bowel syndrome, post concussion syndrome, and chronic ailments like adrenal dysfunction.
