True North Affiliates are practitioners who are credentialed using the same high standards as all True North practitioners. They participate in True North governance using circle process and in True North’s outcomes-based research program. Affiliates practice at an off-site location and schedule and bill for their own appointments.

We developed the Affiliate Program in response to inquiries from like-minded practitioners throughout the state of Maine. We have heard from practitioners of many different modalities that they are embracing the idea of integrative, whole-person health care. Many expressed interest in affiliating with True North because we have put in place a rigorous credentialing system and outcomes-based research protocols to continuously assess and improve the care we give our patients. We foresee a time when there is a network of like-minded practitioners working together across the state to provide high quality, integrative health care to a large number of Maine citizens.
